GLF at BATIC 2025: Driving Partnerships, Collaboration, and Connectivity

The GLF was delighted to play a central role at BATIC 2025, hosted by GLF Member Telin, where global telco leaders, tech innovators, and decision-makers gathered to exchange ideas, unlock opportunities, and spark collaborations shaping the future of connectivity.
The GLF VIP Lounge: A Hub for Global Conversations
At the heart of the event was the GLF VIP Lounge, an exclusive space designed for high-level networking and deal-making. Throughout BATIC 2025, the Lounge was alive with discussion as GLF members and global stakeholders came together to explore partnerships, share insights, and lay the foundations for industry-shaping initiatives.
From one-on-one meetings to spontaneous conversations, the Lounge proved to be a catalyst for collaboration, reinforcing the GLF’s role as a convenor of the international connectivity community.
Inspiring the Next Generation: The Future Tech Leaders Summit
Alongside the Lounge, GLF partnered with Telin to host the first-ever Future Tech Leaders Summit - a landmark initiative bringing together more than 30 high-potential leaders under 30 from across the international telecoms ecosystem.
Participants engaged in a full day of learning and collaboration, guided by respected industry voices:
-
Pak Kharisma, Chief Commercial Officer at Telin, shared insights on the evolving networking requirements of hyperscalers.
-
Nabil Baccouche, Chief Officer Carrier & Wholesale at e&, led an interactive strategy simulation, putting young leaders in the decision-maker’s seat.
-
Li San Lim, CPA Aust., Group Chief Operating Officer of Dialog Axiata, presented a compelling case study on operator transformation.
The Summit challenged participants to think like industry leaders, tackle real-world scenarios, and reflect on their path as the next generation of telecom trailblazers.
Closed Door Leadership Forum
A highlight for the GLF this year at BATIC was the closed-door Leadership Forum we co-hosted with Telin, a GLF Board Member. The event brought together over 30 C-level executives from across the APAC digital infrastructure ecosystem in an interactive half-day format. Participants addressed key requirements for advancing AI-enabled digital infrastructure, securing capital for deployments, overcoming supply chain constraints, fostering collaboration across the AI infrastructure stack, and ensuring access to affordable energy.
Looking Ahead
The GLF extends sincere thanks to our partners, speakers, and participants - including e&, Orange Wholesale, PCCW, Telin, and Telkom Indonesia - for contributing to such a dynamic and impactful week at BATIC 2025.
The conversations started in the GLF Lounge and the inspiration sparked at the Future Tech Leaders Summit will continue to drive collaboration across our global community.
