GLF Strengthens Board Leadership with Three Senior Appointments

20 October 2025: The Global Leaders’ Forum (GLF) announced today the election of three senior industry leaders to its Board, strengthening its leadership team as it continues to drive collaboration across the global connectivity ecosystem.
Nabil Baccouche, Group Chief Carrier & Wholesale Officer at e&, has been elected Vice Chair of the GLF Board. In this role, he will work closely with Enrico Bagnasco, CEO of Sparkle and Chair of the GLF Board (elected in June 2025), and fellow Board Members to deliver the collaborative work and strategic vision of the GLF’s members, who include many of the world’s largest international ICT service providers.
Joining him on the Board are two further appointments: Obaid Rahman, who returns to the GLF Board representing TNS Global in his new role as CEO, and Andres Proaño, Chief Revenue Officer of BTS, who has been elected to the Board for the first time. Both bring valuable expertise and perspectives from across the international telecoms and digital infrastructure community, further strengthening the GLF’s ability to advance its mission of global cooperation and industry innovation.
