On the 5th May 2025, the Global Leaders’ Forum released a collaboratively produced report “Tomorrow’s Telco 2” that outlines a consensus view on the connectivity industry and requirements needed to meet customer expectations and create value in the coming years.

The report highlights four primary trends impacting global connectivity, those are as follows: cloud connectivity, generative AI network demands, AI driven distributed internet and evolving enterprise requirements.
